Getting Around
TRAVEL IN ESTES PARK
While a car is highly recommended for exploring the area, Estes Park offers a convenient free summer transit service, "The Peak," from late May to late October. The Gold Route stops directly in front of the Cabin, providing easy access to destinations within Estes Park and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.
WINTER DRIVING
Estes Park's snow plow crew is excellent, ensuring regular clearing during snowstorms. However, significant blizzards can cause delays. Given our 8,000-foot elevation and heavy snowfall from October to May, we strongly recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. Our maintenance team will plow/shovel the driveway. We also provide shovels and ice melt at the property for your convenience.

My husband and I took our first trip with our 6 month old and wanted a peaceful getaway and this place was perfect! Close to town, fishing right in the backyard and everything we needed/wanted for a change of scenery. Sara was so helpful in providing information about what there was to do near by, accommodating for anything w may have needed and the place was clean! Would absolutely come back!
Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, just what we needed, great location, very close to an entrance to RMNP and downtown Estes Park as well as all other local attractions. The house was well stocked and very clean and well maintained, the river behind the house and local wildlife made for such a peaceful retreat. We would love to come and stay again in the future.
This was the perfect combination of a quiet peaceful place to stay on the river, but only a 5 minute drive into downtown Estes. The cabin gets all the details right and makes for an easy, comfortable stay.
This cabin is simply perfect - being fully equipped, styled properly for the Rocky Mountains, and offering peace and tranquility right next to the river. We saw Elks directly at the cabin. So beautiful. Perfect mix of nature, cozyness, comfort and access to the nearby town and National Park. We also loved the grill and the gas fireplace. Just all around one of our favorite cabins across the world to be honest. We hope to be back in the future!
This was my first time staying at Estes Park, and because the accommodation was clean and well-located, my family and I were able to enjoy a fun and relaxing time.
We loved the proximity to the National park. We plan on spending a longer amount of time in Estes park for our next visit. We loved it there!
